About Me

I’m so glad you’re here! I am a Registered Play Therapist and Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker with a dedication to helping children, teens and families live healthier, more connected lives together. I also love to work with women of all ages, especially working mothers who are struggling to juggle work, home and personal life balance. It is my pleasure and a privilege to create a warm, nurturing place for my clients to heal, grow, learn and feel empowered to make positive changes. I have 20 years of clinical experience with children and families. Most of my career has been in the school setting with children of all ages, making me knowledgable about connecting home and school as well. I have also worked as a therapist in a community mental health setting and a therapist in the foster care system. In addition to my training as a play therapist, I have extensive training on the impact of early childhood trauma and trauma informed practices. I am level 1 trained in Conscious Discipline, a social-emotional learning program that provides parents with skills to connect, discipline and build life-long skills in their children. Coaching parents to feel more confident and supported is a passion of mine. I have attended several trainings for the Social Thinking program, a social skills program geared toward helping kids of all ages with social skill challenges. I also enjoy teaching play therapy courses and educating my community about the value of play and understanding children’s needs. As a mom, I understand the importance of positive family relationships as well. I hope to help you and support you in the challenges that impact you and your family. Let me know how I can be helpful,
